February is " Women in Horror Month "- a month in which to celebrate the impact that women have had on the genre and the industry- from writing, to acting, to directing and producing. When you're in the "business" of reviewing movies, you come across people in the industry that cover a wide spectrum of roles- from script writers, to producers, to directors, and performers.  Such was the case when my friend's over at " We Came From the Basement " interviewed a lovely lady by the name of Brooke Lewis several months ago.  While tweeting for their radio show that featured the interview, I got to talk a bit with Brooke via Twitter. Not too long ago, I watched and reviewed " The Timeslip "- a short film by the indie film group, Chance Encounters.  Jonathan chance of the Chance Brothers was kind enough to agree to answer some questions" as part of my new regular feature- " Grave Questions ".  TCoT :   What inspired you to become a film maker in the first place ? John :   First and foremost - original ideas of our own to make!  Since we were little, we were into horror and SCI-FI.  Growing up in the 80's, full of movie icon's it was an inspiring time like no other. Around 10 and 14 we saw heroes like Peter Jackson, John Carpenter, etc show what a person could accomplish with a camera and some friends.
